Representative of Republic of Serbia in working group on School Policy, Desanka Radunovic, participated in founding session of National Convention on The European Union (NCEU) Working group 18, which took place on February 6 2015 in National Assembly permises.
The NCEU Working group 18 is engaged in negotiation chapters 25 and 26, i.e. fields of science and research, education and culture. The aim of the session was the establishment of the Working Group 18 NKEU, presentation of these areas, as well as the Open Method of Coordination.
Desanka Radunovic presented the Open Method of Coordination, a mechanism that is very important for cooperation establishment among the Member states in Education and Traininig. She shared her experience in working group on School Policy, therefore showed participants what happens when a country joins the EU.
“We must make maximum use of what we as representatives of Serbia under the Open Method of Coordination arranged and try to keep up with the EU member states when it comes to education and training” said Desanka Radunovic.
The session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development Zorana Lužanin and Vikotor Nedović and Tanja Miscevic, Head of the Negotiating Team for Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the EU.
