School Policy

The thematic working group on School Policy is divided into two sub-fields : Early School Leaving and Teacher Education.

School policy is one of the main fields that need to provide quality education, and therefore the starting point for reform. The challenges identified within school policy field: development of competencies and their assessment, equality of education (especially in the field of prevention of dropout) and the improvement of the teaching profession.

The main task of this thematic working group is to help the EU Member States to implement reforms that ensure quality education for all the students, the education that takes into account the individual needs of students and improvement of the teaching profession. The thematic working group is focused on specific and useful data aimed at solving the specific challenges of school policies.

The elected representatives of the Republic of Serbia in the Open Method of Coordination in Education and Training who participate in this working group are Desanka Radunović, representative of the National Education Council and Jelena Marković, representative of the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit.
